Legal

Privacy policy.

This policy explains how Synhia collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this site, the contact form and the intranet.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Synhia. For any privacy matter you can write to us at hello@synhia.com.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data needed to assist you:

  • Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the message you send us.
  • Intranet (employees only): corporate email and login credentials.
  • Minimal technical server data (for example, access logs) for security and operation.

3. How we use it

We use your data for specific, limited purposes:

  • Respond to your request and follow up on the business conversation you started.
  • Give intranet access to authorized team members.
  • Keep the site secure, supported and working correctly.

4. Legal basis and authorization

We process your data with your prior, express and informed authorization, under Law 1581 of 2012 (Colombia). You grant it by checking the consent box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@synhia.com.

5. We do not sell your data

We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, nor pass it to third parties for their own marketing. For California (US) residents, this means we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

6. Who we share it with

We only share data with providers that help us operate, strictly as needed, under confidentiality obligations:

  • Google and IONOS, for email services and operational communications; Google may also provide Google Analytics 4 for measuring site usage.
  • HubSpot, to manage contacts, business opportunities and marketing communications when the user has provided the applicable authorization.
  • Authorities, only when required by law.

7. International transfers

Your data may be stored or processed on servers located outside Colombia, including the United States. When this happens, we take reasonable measures to keep your data adequately protected.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as the relationship or contact lasts, and afterwards for the period required by law. Once that period ends, we securely delete or anonymize it.

9. Your rights

You can exercise your rights at any time by writing to hello@synhia.com; we respond within the legal timeframes.

  • Colombia (Law 1581): access, update, correct and delete your data, withdraw your authorization and request proof of it.
  • California/US (CCPA/CPRA): know what data we hold, access it, request its deletion or correction, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
  • Complaints: in Colombia you may contact the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies according to their purpose. Strictly necessary cookies enable essential functions, such as maintaining the intranet session and protecting forms. We also use Google Analytics 4 to obtain aggregated statistics about site usage, such as pages visited, interactions and performance. Analytics cookies will not be used before the applicable consent is obtained. If we later add preference, marketing or additional tracking cookies, we will explain their purpose, provider, duration and how to accept or reject them before activating them. You can write to hello@synhia.com to request information about the processing associated with these technologies.

  • Necessary cookies: used for security, technical operation and the intranet session.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4, used only to measure and improve site performance with prior consent.
  • Marketing or tracking cookies: not currently activated. If introduced, prior consent will be requested and this policy will be updated.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: access restricted to those who need it, encryption in transit (HTTPS) and sound operating practices.

12. Children

This site is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date indicates the current version.

14. Contact

For any question or request about your data, write to us at hello@synhia.com.
